He reminds me of a shorter Meachem. I didn't like all the horse**** he did last night, but I'm glad he's on board. Now get Couch to jump on board officially and things are looking pretty good.
Since a lot of us on here like to talk cfb recruiting and big time commitments, I figured a recruting thread wouldnt hurt.
Tennessee got a big time commit tonight. 4 Star WR out of Michigan DeAnthony Arnett. Scout.com: DeAnthony Arnett Profile

If I didn't have to take my 4 year old to the Fall Festival this weekend I was going to go to DB to see UT committ Devrin Young play when Bearden comes to town.
I like the idea of the recruit thread. :2thumbsup:

Im hoping UT is getting a commit out of Kingsport next year. Although he may miss Friday's game.

Devrin Young is the real deal. He has been compared to Percy Harvin and Darren Sprolyes. I just hope he is half as good as those two. Quarrles at Maryvillie said he was the best athlete ever to play on Maryvillie's field "even better than Randall Cobb.
Alabama has some big commits so far, Hasean Clinton-Dix, 5* CB and Brent Calloway, a 5* LB to go along with 12 4* commits.
But the big dogs have yet to decide, and Bama is in on Jadevon Clowney, 5* DE, Isiah Crowell, 5* RB and Cyrus Kouandjio, the 5* OL.

I think Cyrus Kouandjio ends up at Bama because of his brother but you never know. Clowney is a beast.
And going back to our previous conversation on Curtis Grant, he has told VT that they are out of the running. Rumor is he's been a silent verbal to UF for a few months but who knows. He's one of those kids who are hard to read and loves the process. Heck, he may end up at that up and coming program in Charlottsville to play for Hope and Change London!
"They (Miami) told me I wasn't big enough to play running back,'' said Ryan Williams with a snicker. "And they tried to offer me as an athlete or wide receiver."
I have heard that UVa is going super duper hard on him, selling him on early PT and bringing UVA back to national prominence, but I doubt he ends up there.
I believe its UF, especially now that they are winning games again and could play for the SEC title.
but yeah, having Arie at Bama really helps with Cyrus. Hopefully Arie has enjoyed his experience so far and will help bring big Cy in.
But I really, really want Clowney. Its looking like an in-state guy right now, going to South Carolina, but Bama has the best shot of getting him out of SC IMO.

I got to watch Devrin Young tonight against D-B, he is a very good player. He had 115 rushing and three td's, and a kickoff return for 75 yards and another TD, also had int. and 8 tackles on defense. Chris Senseabaugh had 180 for D-B and ran his heart out. It was on the best games I've seen in a while. Beardan on 41-35 in OT.
Biggin, Crowell is your's. He showed up for his visit to Bama yesterday wearing a Bama hat. The puppy dog fans are in a tizzy.
